Community Outreach with WomPA
Starting in 2014, a goal of our group is to increase our participation in the community. Our outreach program aims to show off the science that the women in our department do, and hopefully inspire the next generation of women by cultivating an interest in STEM fields. To this end we are actively searching for groups, organizations, or clubs to work with. We can organize science demos, telescope viewing/stargazing, or you can come visit our labs. We want to show off what we do, and increase the visibilty of our group, the physics and astronomy department, and women in STEM fields.

WomPA is open to any student, faculty or staff member of the Department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Utah.
